Awards

Awards are not running yet. This page describes how accepted contributions are planned to be recorded once sign-ups and shared projects open. Project members will review accepted work under published project rules.

How awards are planned to work when projects open

  1. Contribute work to a project and have it accepted through that project’s checks and reviews.
  2. For a project release, contributors with accepted work can stand for an award.
  3. Each eligible member gets one equal vote for a contributor.
  4. Under the planned voting rules, up to three contributors with votes will receive gold, silver or bronze records. The page will include the voting rules and vote counts.
Award records and daily streaks

Award records are planned to include accepted contributors and work at the time of the vote. Corrections will stay in the history; work later undone will stop counting toward current totals. Awards will not change ownership.

The planned activity history will count days with accepted work, from midnight UTC. Members will choose whether to share their records or profile.
